Year 4 have jammed in some excellent events to kick start some of their learning!

On Tuesday, they enjoyed an Anglo-Saxon workshop. It started with Ash the Viking leaping out at the children, spear in hand and terrifying them all! Over the day, the children were able to handle artefacts, explore weapons and play games. They created a shield wall and even took part in a Viking Burial. Ash was very impressed with the children and they were so well-behaved that he even showed them extra artefacts that he wouldn’t usually use. Well done Year 4.

Later in the week, the children brought in their toothbrushes and had a go at using some disclosing tablets to find out how well they had cleaned their teeth. The blue tongues caused lots of laughter!

What a great week for Year 4, I wonder what they will get up to next!
